Warranty Statement

 

TiGHT AV Limited Warranty Statement 

 

Coverage 

Under its Limited Product Warranty, TiGHT AV, at its sole discretion, will either:

• Repair or facilitate the repair of defective products within a reasonable period of time, restore such products to proper operating condition, and return the repaired products free of charge for necessary parts, labor, and shipping.

• Replace and return, free of charge, any defective products with a direct replacement or with a similar product deemed by TiGHT AV to perform substantially the same function as the original product.

 

Coverage Periods 

The standard limited warranty for TiGHT AV products is five (5) years from the date of shipment from TiGHT AV warehouse, with the following exceptions: 

1. All TiGHT AV camera and video soundbar products are covered by a standard two (2) year limited warranty.
2. All TiGHT AV fiber optic cables are covered by a standard one (1) year limited warranty.
3. All TiGHT AV active speakers are covered by a standard one (1) year limited warranty.

Products that exceed the applicable warranty period may be repaired and returned at the customer’s expense.

 

Conditions 

To obtain a remedy under this Limited Product Warranty, you must contact either the authorized TiGHT AV reseller or distributor from whom you purchased the product, or the TiGHT AV office nearest you.

To make a claim under this Limited Product Warranty, an original dated receipt or other valid proof of purchase must be provided.

TiGHT AV requires that products returned for service be properly packed, preferably in the original carton, for shipping. Cartons not bearing a valid return authorization or case number may be refused. TiGHT AV reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any products received without prior authorization.

 

Exclusions 

This Limited Product Warranty does not cover:

• Damage, deterioration, or malfunction caused by alteration, exposure to excess moisture, modification, improper use, neglect, improper packing or shipping (such claims must be presented to the carrier), lightning, power surges, or other acts of nature.

• Damage, deterioration, or malfunction resulting from the installation or removal of the product from any installation, unauthorized tampering with the product, repairs attempted by anyone not authorized by TiGHT AV, or any other cause not directly related to a defect in materials and/or workmanship.

• Equipment enclosures, cables, power supplies, batteries, LCD displays, and any accessories used in conjunction with the product(s).

 

Disclaimers 

This Limited Product Warranty does not imply that the electronic components contained within TiGHT AV products will not become obsolete, nor does it imply that TiGHT AV products or their electronic components will remain compatible with any current or future products or technologies with which they may be used.

TiGHT AV reserves the right, at its sole discretion, not to extend warranty coverage in circumstances arising outside its normal course of business, including, but not limited to, damage inflicted on its products by acts of God or force majeure events.

 

Limitation on Liability 

The maximum liability of TiGHT AV under this Limited Product Warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the product.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TiGHT AV shall not be liable for any direct, special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory.
